Greg Morton is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on October 8, 1953 in Woodstock, New York, United States. Morton was born in Akron, Ohio, in 1953. He was a student at Akron Central High School which amalgamated into a different school on the same date in, becoming the Formerly Central-Hower High School. He was the first pupil from Central-Hower to be awarded the NCAA Division I football scholarship.
The year 1975 was the time Morton played in 11 out of the 12 matches from the position of defensive lineman on his 1975 Michigan Wolverines football team that took part during the Orange Bowl and finished the season at as No. 8 . Both in the AP as well as UPI polls. Morton had 107 tackles as well as 11 sacks totaling an average of 58 yards and was named a first team All-Big Ten team player. In December 1975 The Associated Press published a feature article about Morton’s passion for exotic plants, including the purple passion plant Morton was able to name Claudine. In early December 1977, the Bills placed Morton on the inactive list to make room for a third quarterback to be added to the roster.

Gregory Alan Morton (born October 8th 1953) is an ex- American footballer. He played in the professional league as defensive lineman with the Buffalo Bills during the 1977 NFL season. He also played in the NCAA football tournament in the University of Michigan from 1973 until 1976. He was a defensive lineman with the Michigan Wolverines football team in 34 of 35 games between 1974 until 1976. He was recognized with The ABC broadcast network in the category of the college football’s defensive player for the year for the year 1976. After his collegiate career Morton was ranked third in Michigan’s all-time record book for both career tackles and losses in tackles.
Morton was a student at Morton attended the University of Michigan where he played in college football under the head coach Bo Schembechler. After being a reserve player from 1973 on, Morton played as a defensive lineman with the Wolverines in 35 of 34 games played from 1974 until 1976. Despite his diminutive height of 6 feet 2 inches tall and 225 poundsin weight, Morton was one of the most effective defensive linemen in the game of college. Bo Schembechler called Morton the “quickest, most aggressive tackle in America,” and said, “He’s super quick, reacts like a cat and is surprisingly strong.”
In his final season of collegiate football, Morton started all 12 games at defensive tackle for the 1976 Michigan Wolverines football team that won the Big Ten Conference championship, held opponents to an average of 7.9 points per game, played in the 1977 Rose Bowl and finished the season ranked No. 3 in both the AP and UPI polls. For the second consecutive year, Morton was selected as a first-team All-Big Ten player by both the AP and the UPI. He was selected by the ABC television network as the 1976 defensive player of the year in college football. He received the award ceremony broadcast on ABC during the Liberty Bowl; Tony Dorsett received the award as offensive player of the year.

Morton’s performance was strong enough to advance to the Quarterfinals along with Marcin Patrzalek on a unanimous verdict. His Quarterfinals performance consisted of performing more impressions of characters from various “animated” movies, including Lion King, Aladdin, Shrek, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and even Terminator and Heath Ledger’s Joker. The judges all gave him yet another standing ovation. He received enough votes to advance to the Semifinals in Episode 1412 along with Messoudi Brothers instead of Bir Khalsa. Finally, Morton’s Semifinals performance voices of famous cartoon characters, including Looney Tunes, Flintstones, Shaggy & Scooby-Doo, and Bobby from “Bobby’s World”, which surprised Howie Mandel. The four judges and guest judge Sean Hayes gave him a final standing ovation. It was then that Morton did not receive enough votes to advance to the Finals, eliminating him from the competition instead of Kodi Lee.
