Steps announce plans to release first three studio albums on vinyl

Pop stalwarts Steps have delighted fans this Christmas with the news that their first three studio albums will be available to purchase on vinyl for the FIRST TIME in 2024!

Having previously only ever been available on CD, Cassette and on digital platforms, the group – made up of Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer, Lee Latchford-Evans and Ian ‘H’ Watkins – will release ‘Step One’ (1998), ‘Steptacular’ (1999), and ‘Buzz’ (2000) on wax on February 23rd, 2024.

Each of the LP’s come in three different vinyl formats, these include an Amazon exclusive StepSwirl™, a zoetrope picture disc bringing to life a video for each of the three albums and a unique neon edition in magenta for Step One, yellow for Steptacular and violet for Buzz.

All editions feature “painstakingly rebuilt original artwork”, complete with additional images and full lyrics.

In a joint statement, the band say: “Our fans have been so amazing and loyal over the past 25 years and we always try our best to give them what they want. Over the years, we have had so many pleas to release our first three albums on vinyl and now is the time! These are not just any vinyls – these are really special and we can’t wait for you to see and listen to them!”
